The White County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its annual Giving Tree grants.
The grants, which range from $500 to $1,000, are open to nonprofits in the county, which includes Greenbrier.
"It's a pleasure to be able to strengthen this community by supporting important causes like education, food security issues, health and community development, among others," says executive director Denice Eaves.
The foundation is an affiliate of Arkansas Community Foundation, which has given nearly $3 million in grants since 2003.
